Description : 

 

Spikenard is an Indian aromatic rhizome. Commonly, Spikenard is called Jatamansi, Musk- root, Balchar, Tapaswani or Bhuutajatta. It is angiosperms of Dipsacales order and belongs to Valerianaceae family. Botanically, Spikenard is known as Nardostachys grandiflora.
